Practical guide
Plan your Ozon workflow
Monitor product offers for a consistent delivery region and product variant.
Start with a reproducible sample
Keep the product ID, seller, destination, and price type in each record.
- Define one target, a permitted task, and the settings that must remain fixed.
- Check the exit IP and location, then run the complete task in the intended client.
- Record valid results, errors, traffic, and timing. Change one setting at a time.
- Scale only after the sample meets your acceptance criteria and the traffic budget.
What makes the test meaningful
Distinguish the standard displayed price from payment-specific discounts; record delivery and availability separately.
Limits to account for
Combining different sellers or payment conditions can look like a price change even when the underlying offer has not changed.
Example: one product and payment context
Choose a real product ID, exact variant, and seller, then select a specific delivery address in Saint Petersburg. Record displayed currency RUB and the price label shown beside the offer. If the card presents different payment conditions, create separate fields for those amounts instead of treating the lowest figure as the standard price.
Repeat the observation with unchanged delivery settings and login state. Save the delivery estimate, availability message, product URL, and timestamp alongside the price. When another seller offers the same product, open a new seller-specific series so a change of merchant cannot masquerade as a price change in the original offer.
Avoid mixing incomparable offers
Check package size, selected colour, seller, and price type before calculating a trend. A payment-specific amount, bundle, or personalised offer may describe a different purchase condition. If the destination is lost during navigation, stop that record and restore the declared address before taking a new observation rather than patching the missing setting afterwards.
Distinguish an unavailable variant from a failed page load. Preserve a delivery warning or sign-in prompt in its own result category. A country IP does not establish a delivery address or eligibility for a payment method. Do not fill missing stock, shipping, or price values using another seller’s card or an earlier observation.
Measure the complete offer workflow
An accepted row identifies product, variant, seller, delivery address, currency, displayed price condition, availability, delivery estimate, and time. Keep the settings visible in a permitted evidence capture when the comparison needs review. Treat a delivery date as an observed estimate, and a displayed price as an offer rather than a completed transaction.
Check a small sample manually before increasing frequency or concurrency. Count comparable offers separately from partial pages and changed payment conditions. Measure traffic through the entire product-selection process, including redirects and retries. This produces a defensible regional price series without promising actual warehouse inventory, payment eligibility, or the final checkout amount.
| Task | Starting configuration | Verify before scaling |
|---|---|---|
| Independent regional observations | Chosen country; rotation between samples | Exit-IP location, valid response content, and traffic per result |
| Login or another multi-step session | Continuous session; consistent browser profile | IP continuity, cookies, authentication, and account permissions |
Ozon: questions before launch
What should I verify when testing Ozon?
Distinguish the standard displayed price from payment-specific discounts; record delivery and availability separately.
Should I keep one IP or rotate it?
Use a continuous session for login and other multi-step tasks. Test rotation between independent requests. Verify the exit IP in your application; connection settings and a fixed address are different things.
Does a proxy guarantee access or a successful outcome?
Combining different sellers or payment conditions can look like a price change even when the underlying offer has not changed.
Residential traffic pricing
Choose the plan that matches your workflows
The rate depends on traffic volume. Check the final amount and available payment methods in your dashboard before payment.
