In practice, such a proxy assumes the role of an intermediary: the client sends the request not directly to the website, but first to the proxy server, after which the proxy establishes a connection with the required resource and forwards the data further. For the external server, the source of the request becomes the proxy’s IP address rather than the address of the end device. Although the term SSL proxy is often used in everyday speech, it is more accurate to refer to TLS: it is this protocol that today secures HTTPS connections. However, the name SSL/HTTPS proxy is still widely used as a general designation for solutions that work with encrypted web traffic.

JSON and CSV solve different tasks, although both are used for storing and transmitting data. One format is better suited to structured and multi-level information, while the other is better for flat tabular datasets. In a gaming context, the choice between IPv4 and IPv6 is usually reduced to a simple formula: IPv6 is newer, so it must be faster and better. From an engineering standpoint, that conclusion is incorrect. The protocol does affect network behavior, but not in isolation. It works in conjunction with NAT, the provider’s routing scheme, the type of game transport, the architecture of the specific game, firewall policies, and the quality of dual-stack implementation on end devices and in intermediate infrastructure. For gaming, the question should be framed differently: not “which protocol is better,” but “in which network environment does a specific protocol provide lower latency, fewer session establishment failures, and fewer operational problems.” In some scenarios, IPv6 does indeed offer a noticeable advantage, primarily by eliminating NAT as an intermediate layer. In others, IPv4 proves more predictable because of better compatibility and more stable behavior in real provider networks.
