Practical guide
Plan your WhatsApp workflow
Test connectivity for an account you control while preserving the authorised messaging session.
Start with a reproducible sample
Confirm which proxy protocol your client supports before entering connection details.
- Define one target, a permitted task, and the settings that must remain fixed.
- Check the exit IP and location, then run the complete task in the intended client.
- Record valid results, errors, traffic, and timing. Change one setting at a time.
- Scale only after the sample meets your acceptance criteria and the traffic budget.
What makes the test meaningful
Check transport connectivity, account authentication, and message delivery as separate steps.
Limits to account for
A working proxy does not prove message delivery or recipient consent. Client-specific proxy support must be tested in the exact application version.
Example: an agreed communication check
Use your own test accounts or participants who explicitly agreed to the check. Declare whether the task concerns a phone application, linked browser session, or another authorised client. Record client version, network path, account reference, and timestamp. Confirm which connection settings that client actually uses instead of assuming a browser proxy changes every device’s traffic.
Define a small test message and send it only within the agreed conversation. Record the status shown by the sending client and the observation confirmed by the recipient as separate fields. If your task includes a file, use a small permitted attachment and compare its filename and size after receipt rather than repeatedly sending large media.
Distinguish linking, delivery, and media transfer
A successfully opened web page does not establish that an account was linked, a message arrived, or an attachment downloaded. Keep each stage independent. If the application requests linking or verification, use its legitimate procedure and retain the observed state. Never copy account-linking codes or session material into public screenshots, shared logs, or proxy configuration.
A missing recipient confirmation does not reveal a definite network cause. Record the displayed status and ask the agreed participant to verify the result without sending duplicate messages automatically. A call is another workload and needs an explicitly authorised test of its own. Do not infer call quality from a text message or attachment transfer.
Acceptance criteria for the communication task
Keep an internal conversation reference, client type, country, session state, time, intended payload, sender status, and recipient-confirmed outcome. For an attachment, add expected and observed filename and size. Store personal identifiers only where your project requires them; an anonymised test reference is enough for a public connection report and avoids exposing phone numbers.
Run a short agreed exchange manually before changing connection settings. Separate account linking, message delivery, attachment completion, and any authorised call outcome. Measure traffic for the completed task rather than the sign-in page alone. A proxy cannot supply participant consent, account ownership, delivery confirmation, or a guarantee that another person will read or answer a message.
| Task | Starting configuration | Verify before scaling |
|---|---|---|
| Independent regional observations | Chosen country; rotation between samples | Exit-IP location, valid response content, and traffic per result |
| Login or another multi-step session | Continuous session; consistent browser profile | IP continuity, cookies, authentication, and account permissions |
WhatsApp: questions before launch
What should I verify when testing WhatsApp?
Check transport connectivity, account authentication, and message delivery as separate steps.
Should I keep one IP or rotate it?
Use a continuous session for login and other multi-step tasks. Test rotation between independent requests. Verify the exit IP in your application; connection settings and a fixed address are different things.
Does a proxy guarantee access or a successful outcome?
A working proxy does not prove message delivery or recipient consent. Client-specific proxy support must be tested in the exact application version.
Residential traffic pricing
Choose the plan that matches your workflows
The rate depends on traffic volume. Check the final amount and available payment methods in your dashboard before payment.
